19.7% of nannies receive some type of health insurance benefit.
40.8% use a family-provided automobile to transport children. The survey did not collect information on public transit passes.
Surprisingly, just one in five nannies (21.4%) required to use their personal automobile is reimbursed for the use of her personal vehicle to transport her employer's children.
82.3% of nannies are paid for all scheduled days, whether the family actually needs them or not. This number was essentially the same for full time and part time nannies.
